"Superb hotel in quiet location"
The hotel was a short walk from Paddington train station. We arrived earlier than check-in but were able to leave our bags which was a bonus. My daughter and i were lucky enough to be up-graded to a suite which was on the second floor. The room and bathroom were excellent being very clean and spacious.. The breakfast was all freshly cooked and plentiful and the staff were very friendly. Would certainly use this hotel again and would definitely recommend it. Also, we requested a taxi and it arrived in plenty of time. Top marks all around.

"Excellent"
I stayed for 3 nights at this Hotel. Recently reformed/refurbished, very clean, staff very nice. Close to Paddington Station. Excellent price for money . Would stay there again, for sure. I definitely recommend.

"What a find!"
Excellent hotel and really good value. Rooms were spacious and very clean with comfy beds and HUGE bath! Freshly cooked breakfast every morning with helpful, friendly staff. The location is great too - just 2 mins walk to Paddington Tube station with lots of places to eat nearby. We would book again if we were coming to London. We were in the family room downstairs that had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom - bit noisy as it was under the stars but didn't keep us up late or wake us early.

"What a great hotel this is."
This was our first time staying at this hotel and mixed up our reservation dates, but they sorted them out very speedily and without fuss. We could not have found a better Hotel to stay in. Most hotels these days seem to have very small rooms and an impersonal feel to them. Not at this Hotel. The room was spacious,clean and very comfortable and the breakfasts we had were excellent both in quality of food and service.

"Very good value for money, as expected."
Very helpful staff. Nice touches like the free use of a safe and an empty fridge in the room . Very clean, tidy room. Front 4th floor room overlooked the Sussex Gardens road. The small amount of background road noise did not disturb sleep. (Other floors had double glazing at the front , we were told.) Breakfast was good. Very good security. Within minutes of Paddington Station. Near bus routes to Covent Garden, Westminster, etc. Some of the return buses stopped actually on Sussex Gardens. Only fifteen minutes short stroll to Baker Street. A number of stores and shops within a few minutes walk. Well located. Manager very pleasant as were all his staff. Glad we chose this hotel.

"Perfect location, very comfortable, very clean rooms"
Darlington is not only perfect for all types of transport, it is spotlessly clean, cosy and the staff absolutely courteous.
