Tate Britain is an art museum with a focus on British art ranging from 1500 to modern-day. The collection draws from the Tate collection.
There are two large main galleries in the museum. The Duveen Galleries opened in 1937. They were the first public galleries in England to be specifically built for the display of sculptures. The 300-foot long gallery is as stunning as the art that it houses.
The Prints and Drawings room houses an amazing collection of sketchbooks and watercolours. Including works by visionary artist J M W Turner. If you wish to browse the gallery, you will need to make an appointment. You can select the artworks that you are interested in viewing before your arrival.
